So I had a blood test last week (that gave me a headache that has so far refused to go away) and apparently I am now sick enough for the doctors to start me on new medicine. Yay me. It does mean that I am probably one of the lucky people that only has to take one dose of radiation, so no more of that for me - though as of yet, no super powers have shown up, which is somewhat depressing lol.
The only problem is that they probably won't start off with the right dosage, so they have to figure that out... and not only that, but the radiation still has another month or so to wreak havoc upon my thyroid, which will of course change the dosage I need. Sounds like fun. P: On the other hand, not having to take more radiation shaves two or three months off my calculated time before I may be feeling reasonably like a human being again. I was guessing sometime next fall, around late summer, but it looks like it may be closer to around my birthday (damn nice birthday present if I do say so myself).
Of course, the doctors also claim that I may start feeling better by next week, but since they have been saying things like that for the last two years or so, I highly doubt it.
And now I must sleep, in the hopes that this cursed headache will go away.
